The gardens outside provide a pleasant view, perfect for a quiet stroll after dinner. The dining options are a standout, with delicious evening meals that impressed with the quality and flavors offered.
Rooms tend to run a bit cold upon arrival, which can be a nuisance while getting settled in—especially without clear instructions on the heating system. The shower experiences fell short. some had trouble with water temperature and locating the main switch, leading to confusion and frustrating cold showers. gaps under the main doors let in excess light, which could disrupt sleep. Other small issues include the size of the rooms feeling cramped for some and the shower door needing resealing to avoid water pooling issue. little quirks detracted from an otherwise enjoyable experience.

I loved how the huge bed in my room felt after a long day at the Yorkshire show, and the shower was amazing! I spent some quality time in the garden area and enjoyed a nice spot to unwind. Only downside was that we couldn’t grab a drink later at the pub since it was closed, but overall a lovely stay! 🍻

Oh, the food was unbeatable! We had a blast enjoying delicious dinners and the desserts were proper show-stoppers! The Bay Horse Inn feels cozy and has a charming ambiance that really makes you feel welcome.
The pillows were oddly small, and the late-night kitchen curfews were a bit of a letdown. Plus, the checkout process could've used a bit of life—no one around to say cheers on our way out.
